Cointel agent Bill Ayers: Obama should be tried for ‘war crimes’

21st century Wire says…

Bill Ayers, the brain-child of 60′s terror group the Weather Underground, recently shot a short interview discussing the Obama Presidency. In surreal fashion, Ayers was seen smiling and generally enjoying himself, upon delivering a calculated critique of Obama and other President’s of this Century:

“Every president in this century should be put on trial,” Ayers said. “Every one of them goes into an office dripping with blood and then adds to it. And, yes, I think that these are war crimes. I think that they’re acts of terror.”

The timing of this interview seems very suspect, as those in elite circles have been clamouring for more oil and gas reserves in the Middle East, pushing Obama towards a full-scale invasion of Syria. While Obama is no stranger to illegal wars or unjust drone bombing, its bizarre that even hard left media operatives are so quick to rid themselves of the “hope & change” emperor.

Is this a part of a larger agenda, as covered by political analyst Webster Tarpley? Tarpely has suggested that Obama has been extorted for his lack of progress in Syria.

In the video below, Ayers is seen speaking with a forked tongue, accusing his disciple Obama of acts of terror, when Ayers himself was a domestic terrorist that was never tried for his crimes. In a sense, disowning his protegé’ and at the same time, normalizing the violence surrounding modern-day Presidents. Ayers, is a walking propaganda machine for intelligence agencies.

Are intelligence operatives getting the inside talking point to dump the failing U.S. president, in favor of a new dictator?

Bill Ayers: Obama should be tried for war crimes

By Aaron Blake

Bill Ayers, whose relationship with President Obama was the subject of much intrigue during Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, now says the president should be tried for war crimes.

Ayers, the former Weather Underground member and University of Illinois at Chicago professor, told Real Clear Politics that Obama is “absolutely” engaged in terrorist activity by using drones and “absolutely” should be tried for war crimes.

Wikileaks says: Ed Snowden has approached Iceland for asylum through intermediary

21st Century Wire says…

Oh, how the plot thickens. First a leak to the D-Notice ridden, government controlled Guardian newspaper, then taking sanctuary in the British intelligence hive known as Hong Kong, then overtures for flight to Russia, and now former CIA and NSA Serpico figure, Ed Snowden, wants to make tracts back to the mothership of international freedom, dignity and privacy – to bankster-free rogue state known as Iceland… it’s a perfect spy novel for 21st century intrigue.

Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?

Meanwhile, can someone not tell us we are NOT seeing a repeat of the Julian Assange episode, another digital martyr kept under house arrest?

What we do see is a future staged confrontation-cum-agreement involving the US and others to deny whistleblowers any sanctuary – by international decree of the new embryonic one world government.

RT wire

Iceland has been informally contacted by an intermediary who stated that NSA leaker, former CIA contractor Edward Snowden, wants asylum in the Nordic island-state, Reuters reports. The difficulty though is that he is not in the country.

WikiLeaks spokesman Kristinn Hrafnsson wrote in Icelandic daily Frettabladid that a middleman had approached him on behalf of Snowden.

“On 12 June, I received a message from Edward Snowden where he asked me to notify the Icelandic government that he wanted to seek asylum in Iceland,” Hrafnsson, who is also an investigative journalist in Iceland, told Reuters.

The government of the island-nation confirmed that they got the notification from Hrafnsson. However, a meeting has so far been declined, according to Iceland Review.

The same day as Hrafnsson sent the plea on behalf of the American whistleblower, he also requested a meeting with Iceland’s Prime Minister Sigmundur Gunnlaugsson and the Interior Minister, Hanna Birna Kristjansdottir.

Neither of them was able to meet with me even though they realized what my request was about. I made sure that both of them were given the necessary information about his plea for help,” the WikiLeaks spokesperson stated.

He was later informed by the ministries that under the law, a person applying for political asylum in Iceland must actually be in the country.

Snowden, who has been hiding in Hong Kong after fleeing the US, explained he did not go straight to Iceland because he feared that it would be easier for the American authorities to put pressure on the Icelandic government than on the Chinese.

Snowden, the 29-year-old former intelligence contractor, leaked documents on US secret surveillance programs, including PRISM – which allows the NSA (National Security Agency) to monitor Internet users’ emails, search results, photos, video chats and so on.

The US authorities have launched a criminal investigation into Snowden’s actions and he is being currently sought by both the NSA and CIA, most likely to be charged with treason.

No Evidence: ‘Obama does a Bush’ to get No-Fly Zone and war in Syria

21st Century Wire says…

No evidence of WMDs… and still a call for war? Again?

This sounds all too familiar. The Bush Administration did the exact same thing in Iraq. There was no evidence then, other than fabricated sexed-up intelligence. The same is true today.

Obama’s famous ‘red line’ on chemical weapons was never red, it was always pink.

This website, along with many others, has already shown its readers who is staging chemical weapons events in Syria and why. The evidence is very clear to see, yet the White House spin doctor and paid foreign policy hack Ben Rhodes has drafted the shape-shifting language for the White House in order to give the appearance legality in this case.

Will Obama sell truth and justice down the river Styx again? It’s looks like that is exactly what is happening now, as the White House is desperate to meet their summer time-table to attack and over throw the government in the sovereign national of Syria.

Whether it’s running guns and weapons into Syria or US and NATO soldiers (many already positioned around Syria’s borders), or implementing a “No Fly Zone” and bombing the country back to 1960, as was the case with Libya two years ago, the trifecta of the US, Great Britain and France (with Israel and Turkey hiding in the shadows) are determined to destroy Syria and increase the overall instability in the region – in order to better control and dominate it economically. If you still think they’re doing it for humanitarian reasons, then you are either an intellectual accomplice to political fraud, or you’ve simply bought into the lies… again.

Barack Obama’s war hawk line is much worse than even George Bush Jr’s fraudulent line was back in 2003, because in 2013, even the UN has already given its assessment that it was in fact those US and Saudi/Qatari-backed terrorist ‘rebels’ fighters – many professional foreign fighters working in Syria under the al Qaeda banner – who have been caught red-handed using a type of chemical weapon on the Syrian people – and not Bashar al Assad’s government forces.

So where do the lies end and the truth begin with this administration in Washington? It’s so hard to tell right now, as telling the truth has become a taboo practice these days in Washington.

This is exactly what happens when you give corrupt lawyers the keys to the castle. So, so many scandals with this White House, but every single one they claim is “legal”.

It’s clearer than ever now that the corruption in Washington is as foul as ever, and US President Barack Obama feels he has to empower his own Karl Rove-like surrogate to sell the same deception upon the people of America and the world, in order position themselves better for a confrontation with Iran in 2016.

Another pathetic President being used as a minion and tool of the global energy and defense industries and a pawn of the Israeli lobby running Washington’s foreign policy – and another sad day in the 21st century history of the United States of America.

If there are any Democrats with brains and integrity, and any GOP supporters who are able to see through career criminals shilling for war at every turn, criminal like Hillary Clinton and Obama ‘family friend’ like John McCain – now is your defining moment. Now is the time to burn your party colours and make your voice known to others.

The Syrian war is a fraud perpetrated by politicians criminal opportunists in the west.

We call it like we see it.

Our Assessment: Psychopaths Rule The World

21st Century Wire says…

They often gravitate towards positions of power and wealth…

The mental health profession is diagnosing millions of people per year with various conditions, but what happens when those same clinical psychologists turn their clipboards towards of politicians, lawyers and CEO’s?

Real scientific psychological profiling has revealed in recent years that much of the so-called ‘leadership’ we the people empower with the right to rule – carry all the traits of a clinically diagnosed psychopath.

All we are left to do is sit back in shock and awe as captains of industry, social engineers and politicians “gaslight” the population into an unnatural state of over-compliance and social mediocrity. Psychopaths will try to make the unacceptable seem normal, the illegal seem legal, and the most horrific acts seem necessary.

They are what’s known as “low empathy individuals”…

Is Obama an ‘elected dictator’?

Brasscheck TV

This video could have just as easily been called ‘Hitting the nail
on the head’…

Host: “You called the President recently, an elected dictator. What do you mean by that?”

Ron Paul: “Well, you know, a couple weeks ago he announced Congress is too slow. They don’t move fast enough. So, he was very bold about it. He says, ‘I’m going to pass my legislation one piece at a time. His stimulus package. I’ll write an executive order every week.’ I mean that is arrogant. He is flaunting the Constitution and the whole principles of how we are supposed to operate. Even though these Executive Orders have been around for a long time and I’ve complained about them a long time. But the idea that they can just do this and take over the legislative function and brag about it and Congress does nothing and the courts do nothing.”

When Obama was running for office President Bush’s perverse use of
‘executive orders’ were a big deal at the time. So much so that
Obama even promised not to rule by executive decree, yet THAT is
exactly what he’s been doing.

We all know that congress is the legislative body, but when
presidents can’t get congress to pass the legislation that they
want, they can write and enforce their own legislation through
‘executive orders’.

This is an end-run around the legislative body, a perversion of our
system of government, and by definition… dictatorial.

Transatlantic Union: Scandals, Scoundrels and Global Trade Partners?

By Shawn Helton
21st Century Wire

For the past two weeks we’ve seen the Obama administration embroiled in controversy, as three separate scandals continue to grow and attach themselves to the White House.

While this is major news, and does have the power to topple this U.S. President, there are other far-reaching actions unfolding under his watch…

In a bizarre move, President Obama, held two joint press conferences last week, one with U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron and another with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Perhaps the dual Presidential podiums were a subliminal touch to what seemed to blur the line between world leaders, in a sense, becoming rule by global council. This strange observation may well be significant to understanding the kind of dark partnerships that are developing world-wide.

Rightly, most of the media will focus on the obvious take down of an empire, as they try to uncover the truth about Benghazi, IRS, and the DOJ. However, on the global chess board of finance and war, more stark revelations have come to light involving the U.S. President. During the press conference with Prime Minister Cameron, President Obama, made vague sweeping statements about a Transatlantic Partnership with the E.U. A partnership that many fear will lead to a Transatlantic Union which will impose more globalized standards and regulations, potentially derailing individual free trade.

This was made clear by The New American earlier this year:

“The “Transatlantic Partnership,” of course, is just one of the major sovereignty-threatening international schemes being pursued by the Obama administration simultaneously — closer North American Integration and the so-called “Trans-Pacific Partnership” are two of the most prominent efforts. The latest plot, though, has far-reaching, global implications that critics argue represent a serious threat to America and freedom. If the U.S.-EU deal ends up becoming reality, the regulatory regime governing the new bloc, which accounts for about half of global GDP, would become the de-facto standard-setting entity for the entire planet.”

Obama-CameronObama had this to say during the Cameron press conference:

“With respect to the relationship between the U.K. and the EU, we have a special relationship with the United Kingdom. And we believe that our capacity to partner with a United Kingdom that is active, robust, outward-looking and engaged with the world is hugely important to our own interests as well as the world. And I think the U.K.’s participation in the EU is an expression of its influence and its role in the world, as well as obviously a very important economic partnership”.

Obama echoed the same rhetoric at the Erdogan press conference adding: “Today, we focused on three areas that I want to highlight. First, we agreed to keep expanding trade and investment. Over the past four years, our trade has surged and U.S. exports to Turkey have more than doubled. As the United States pursues a new trade and investment partnership with the EU, I want to make sure that we also keep deepening our economic ties with Turkey. So we’re creating a new high-level committee that will focus on increasing trade and investment between our two countries and will help fuel Turkish innovation. And the progress that Turkey’s economy has made over the last several years I think has been remarkable and the Prime Minister deserves much credit for some of the reforms that are already taking place.”

It seems that more and more we’re faced with a manufactured reality, one in which international institutions will have dictatorial power over trade and the economy world-wide. Breaking away from sovereign entities controlling their own destiny.

Is the transatlantic partnership a sleeping giant for the global economy? What other partnerships are being harbored in regards to U.S., Britain and Turkey? How does this tie into the situation in Syria?

Writer Patrick Henningsen delves further into this in a recent op-ed for Russia Today news: “On Wednesday Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul(R) weighed in on the Benghazi debacle, in a direct challenge to the President and Hillary Clinton, inferring that the Sept. 11, 2012 attack unfolded as a result of a secret arms trade, and rubbishing the previous government line put forward by Susan Rice and the US Intelligence community that the attack was a result of a YouTube film, “The Innocence of Muslims”. During a recent CNN interview Paul explains:

“I’ve actually always suspected that, although I have no evidence, that maybe we were facilitating arms leaving Libya going through Turkey into Syria,” he said. “Were they trying to obscure that there was an arms operation going on at the CIA annex?”

One can only conclude that those in the world who are making economic reforms aligned to a socialist “pay your fair share” tax scheme, can also control the narrative on world events. Creating a new kind of “strategy of tension” by forcing countries to be complicit in illegal activities, via their trade partnerships. Is the new growing economic partnership, a partnership in conflict and consolidation?

Disturbing: Obama’s media shield law makes prosecuting journalists even easier

21st Century Wire says…. Once again the Obama administration is turning a crisis into an opportunity, further tightening it’s grip on individual freedom.  Critics say, that the “media shield law”, could actually remove protection from those seeking to gather information for news reports…

RT

United States President Barack Obama is encouraging Congress to take up a media shield law that was abandoned at the start of his administration, but critics of the bill say it might make it even easier for journalists to be subpoenaed by the government.
-

After the Associated Press revealed on Monday that they are the target of a US Department of Justice probe, Obama asked lawmakers to consider a would-be media shield law that fell apart in Washington after the start of his first presidency in 2009.

The AP wrote this week that the Justice Department subpoenaed two months of phone records likely in an attempt to try and find out with whom the news agency spoke with before publishing a May 2012 article that exposed a Yemeni terror plot foiled by the Central Intelligence Agency. Attorney General Eric Holder called the disclosure of classified information to the AP one of the biggest leaks ever suffered by the US and said publically that it put the American people at risk. On Thursday, Pres. Obama commented that “leaks related to national security can put people at risk,” but suggested that reviving a media shield law that died in Congress could perhaps strike the balance between the public’s right to know and the safety of the nation.

So the whole goal of this media shield law that was worked on, and largely endorsed by folks like the Washington Post editorial page and prosecutors, was finding a way to strike that balance appropriately,” said the president. “And to the extent this case … has prompted renewed interest about how do we strike that balance properly, I think now is the time for us to go ahead and revisit that legislation. I think that’s a worthy conversation to have and I think that’s important.”

Now as the White House shifts focus from one scandal to another, free speech advocates are concerned that the shield law, as written, wouldn’t do much more than current legislation in terms of thwarting future subpoenas sent to journalists. Trevor Timm, an activist with the Electronic Frontier Foundation and a board member of the Freedom of the Press Foundation, wrote in a blog post this week that the media shield law touted by Pres. Obama during his days as a senator in Illinois failed to take shape after he secured his spot in the Oval Office.

As a Senator, Obama was a vocal supporter of a robust shield law; he co-sponsored a bill in 2007 and campaigned on the issue in 2008,” Timm wrote. “But when the Senate moved to pass the bill as soon as Obama came into office, his administration abruptly changed course and opposed the bill, unless the Senate carved out an exception for all national security reporters.”

When Obama entered the White House in early 2009, he walked away from a Senate where a shield law he advocated for had just started to take shape. Before long, though, his own administration asked for Congress to make adjustments before it ended up on the president’s desk. That original law would, in theory, put in place safeguards that would help prevent journalists from being compelled to testify who their sources are. Once in the White House, though, Obama did an about face.

In September 2009, Charlie Savage wrote for the New York Times that those safeguards “would not apply to leaks of a matter deemed to cause ‘significant’ harm to national security.

Moreover, judges would be instructed to be deferential to executive branch assertions about whether a leak caused or was likely to cause such harm, according to officials familiar with the proposal,” Savage wrote.

One of the bill’s authors, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-New York), had sharp words for the president at the time. “The White House’s opposition to the fundamental essence of this bill is an unexpected and significant setback. It will make it hard to pass this legislation,” the senator said. Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania), a co-sponsor, called the changes “totally unacceptable.”

If the president wants to veto it, let him veto it,” Sen. Specter told the Times in 2009. “I think it is different for the president to veto a bill than simply to pass the word from his subordinates to my subordinates that he doesn’t like the bill.”

Ultimately, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the shield law after some minor tweaking in December 2009, but as Savage explained in the Times this week, “a furor over leaking arose after WikiLeaks began publishing archives of secret government documents, and the bill never received a vote.”

RT Op-Edge: Why Obama’s ‘red line’ in Syria has turned pink

RT Op-Edge
Patrick Henningsen

Back in August 2012, things were a lot different in Washington DC and in the White House…

The Obama administration was brandishing a confident swagger back then, heading into the elections against a hobbling GOP opponent, and Benghazi had yet to unfold in all of its ugliness.

As Hillary Clinton was jetting around on the US State Department budget promoting her ‘Friends of Syria’ Middle East and European tours, and as the CIA were busy like bees working in the gray shadows of Benghazi, Washington and London were laying the groundwork for their new WMD case is Syria.

As last summer drew to a close, President Barack Obama confidently announced he was drawing a ‘Red Line’ in Syria regarding the use of chemical weapons, meaning that any evidence of their use on either side of that conflict would lead to consequences, the obvious inference being automatic US military intervention.

Fast forward to the present, and Washington appears to have been caught in the vortex of its own spin machine, with White House Press Secretary Jay Carney recently forced to ‘clarify’ the President’s infamous ‘Red Line’ decree with what can only be described as desperate political cover. Here Carney attempted to explain away the previous ultimatum and re-explain the President’s position:

“What the president made clear is that it was a red line, and that it was unacceptable, and that it would change his calculus… What he never did – and it is simplistic to do so is to say that ‘if X happens, Y will happen’. He has never said what reaction he would take.”

It’s hard to run a global empire and still pander to sensitive liberal concerns at home. The White House seems to be at pains coming to terms with what the Neoconservative Bush government already knew a decade ago – that there really is no good, safe way to do a military intervention. In the end, the façade of political spin cannot provide ethical cover for invading and toppling another sovereign state. You can’t finesse your way into it, you have to just go for it in full view – lie if you have to, fabricate evidence if need be, and be damned with the political fallout…

Organizing for Action struggles to move the needle on Obama’s agenda

Washington Post
Juliet Eilperin

President Obama’s supporters are discovering that winning a national election is easier than winning over Congress.

Organizing for Action, an advocacy group born from the remnants of Obama’s victorious 2012 reelection campaign, has struggled in its attempts to help the president push through legislation on the economy, guns and other issues central to his second-term agenda.

JOHN GRESS/REUTERSThe fledgling nonprofit group has spent its first four months staging rallies and generating local news coverage in an unsuccessful effort to get the Senate to strengthen background checks for gun sales.

It deployed technological efforts familiar from the 2012 campaign, collecting 1.4 million signatures on a gun-control petition delivered to Capitol Hill last week and producing a widely viewed Internet videomocking congressional Republicans for questioning humans’ contribution to climate change.

The group also raised $4.9 million through March and is awaiting an influx of cash from liberal donors connected to George Soros’s Democracy Alliance to expand its staff beyond the few dozen now on its payroll.

But despite its extensive voter-data files and White House connections, OFA has yet to make much of a mark on the nation’s political landscape. Many of its efforts have been centered in liberal strongholds and Democratic-leaning swing states, with little impact on more conservative areas.

“A real, sustained grass-roots movement — you can’t make that up in a minute,” said Marshall Ganz, a community-organizing expert and public policy senior lecturer at Harvard University. “It’s a long-term investment in grass-roots leadership.”

But OFA Executive Director Jon Carson said that while the group itself is young, many of its members are longtime political activists. “Our volunteers did not hatch out of an egg in 2008,” he said. “They’ve been fighting on issue campaigns for their whole lives.”

OFA is focused on promoting the president’s agenda to reform immigration, strengthen gun control, strike a budget deal and address climate change. Carson said the combination of OFA rallies and local news coverage is helping change voter attitudes, which in turn places pressure on lawmakers to back Obama’s legislative goals.

Democrats Used IRS to Try and Eliminate Political Opponents in 2012 Election

21st Century Wire says…

To what depths would those currently occupying the highest seats in government sink in order to maintain their grip on power?

No we’re seeing just exactly how the current US administration is a lot dirtier and more ruthless than previously imagined. This admission has come from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) itself…

IT’S OFFICIAL: IRS employees working in the tax-exempt units selected groups with “tea party” or “patriot” in their names, and targeted them in an effort to marginalize and cripple those political organizations – all of whom just happened to be political rivals of the current White House power structure.

Were they instructed by the White House, or the Democratic Party leadership to pursue such groups in the run-up to the 2012 election. If we suspend political naivety for just a few seconds, we can see that the answer to this is most likely, yes.

Is this an impeachable offense? The answer, of course, is yes.

Initial reports say that this corruption took place out of the IRS Cincinnati office, but what about other offices? In Congressional Hearing, and even a Grand Jury should be in order to determine the full scope of this crime – in itself the worst kind of crime imaginable from government – commonplace in banana republic dictatorships.

Will the media dig further into this, which could easily be a nationwide scandal, or will they protect the White House instead?

We hope both the federal government and the 4th Estate will do its job on this one…

IRS admits targeting conservatives for tax scrutiny in 2012 election

-
By Zachary A. Goldfarb and  Karen Tumulty

The Internal Revenue Service on Friday acknowledged that it flagged political groups with “tea party” or “patriot” in their names for special scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status, an admission that is fueling long-held suspicions among conservatives that the agency has been singling them out for unfair treatment.

The IRS official who oversees tax-exempt groups, Lois Lerner, said the actions, although not motivated by partisan concerns, were wrong, and she apologized twice on Friday.

She said that between 2010 and 2012, about 75 of these groups were selected for extra screening as part of a broader review of political advocacy organizations that were seeking tax-exempt status. Front-line IRS employees working in the tax-exempt unit in Cincinnati selected groups with “tea party” or “patriot” in their names, she said, as a shorthand because of the proliferation of these groups in recent years.

The employees also requested donor lists from some of the groups and sent questionnaires seeking overly broad information, Lerner acknowledged.

“That’s absolutely inappropriate and not the way we ought to do things,” Lerner said in a briefing with reporters. “They didn’t do it out of any political bias.”

Lerner would not say whether any of the IRS employees involved have been disciplined, but she said that new policies have been put in place to prohibit this kind of screening and that, overall, none of the 75 groups have been rejected for approval so far.

The IRS apology did not mollify either conservative political groups or Republican lawmakers, who have been warning for more than a year about unfair treatment from the agency.

“I call on the White House to conduct a transparent, government-wide review aimed at assuring the American people that these thuggish practices are not underway at the IRS or elsewhere in the administration against anyone, regardless of their political views,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Friday. “An apology won’t put this issue to rest.”

One of the nation’s largest tea party groups, the Tea Party Patriots, said it rejected the IRS’s explanation and demanded the resignations of all officials involved. The group also called on President Obama to apologize for ignoring its groups’ concerns…
