The Los Angeles Board of Education has scheduled a vote for Thursday that will likely approve a COVID vaccine mandate for its ‘eligible’ students, the LA Times reports.
LA Unified School District is the second-largest school system in the nation and already has high hopes for mandating the jabs for children who have a near-zero risk of death from COVID-19, further stating:
“The Los Angeles Unified Board of Education will vote at their next meeting on whether to mandate vaccines for all eligible students. Science clearly shows that vaccinations are an essential part of protecting our communities. Further details will be forthcoming after the vote.”
Approval of a vaccine mandate for students will likely result in a new string of lawsuits, LA Unified officials also told The Times.

All known data and reporting reveals that there is actually no medical or public health case for the mass vaccination of children and young people, or for coercive or restrictive measures affecting those who are unvaccinated. It is a case of all risk with zero benefit.
Despite all of this, board members can’t contain their excitement for the impending vaccine mandate:
“Personally I think we should do so as soon as possible”
“Wow! Life would be almost normal.”
“We are living in a global pandemic, so if a vaccine can save and protect a student’s life, how is requiring students that are eligible for the vaccine any different than what is already being done?”
Students who don’t comply with the mandate could spend another lost year of school on Zoom. Or much worse, either become ‘chronically absent’ or just drop out altogether. This actually happened with thousands of students over the last two years in the same LA Unified School District.
