Confronting Russia and China has become the main talking point, as Tory school election front-runners Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss try desperately to ‘out-hawk’ each other to win flavor from their party’s blue rinse brigade and deep state media.
As the race for No. 10 Downing Street come down to the final lap, the two contenders seem to be making promises that are more focused on foreign policy rather than the looming economic crisis at home.
