FRIHED: The ‘Pandemic’ Is Over In Denmark

Thumbs Up from Denamrk

Denmark, a country that implemented its own version of vaccine passports, ‘Coronapas’, just five months ago, is now pulling the plug on all its COVID restrictions making it the most ‘restriction-free’ Nordic nation:

It seems like an upside-down world all of a sudden: that the Danes, who at the start of the pandemic gave Swedish travellers the cold shoulder on the Öresund bridge and told them to turn back because Swedish Covid restrictions were too mild, are now letting go of the reins altogether.

The Danish government will lift all remaining restrictions on September 10th – also becoming the first EU country to do so.

It’s not without caveat, of course, as the government maintains the ability to “act quickly if the pandemic once again threatens the essential functioning of society.”

The impetus for the sudden lifting of COVID restrictions was not ‘cases’ – which are higher than neighboring Sweden at the moment – but high vaccination numbers.

71% of Danes have been jabbed at least twice, making it the the EU’s third most vaccinated country.

That said, pencil this in as a ‘win’ for worldwide freedom against COVID tyranny. Tak!
