Did ‘BACK TO THE FUTURE’ Really Predict 9/11?

Great Scott! This week saw the re-release of the 80’s pop movie classic Back To The Future whose plot depicted the date, Oct. 21, 2015, as the day on which characters Dr. Emmett Brown and Marty McFly touched down in the future. 

The film’s worldwide series re-release screening took in a one-day total of $4.8 million. As part of the studio’s PR promotion, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) seemingly teleported on to the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, seen here:

One aspect in which ‘Back To The Future Day’ has caught the mainstream media’s eye is a ‘conspiracy theory’ that imagery in the film actually predicted the events of September 11th.

Apparently, web surfers are also desperately trying to know the identity of the ominous video’s creator.

Call it predictive programming or universal synchronicity, but the following YouTube video has exploded this week, where the video’s author places this phenomenon into the category of ‘synchromysticism’.
