Is it a deal, or no deal? The much-hyped memorandum of understanding stipulates that upon signing, both sides will declare an immediate, complete, and permanent end to all hostilities in the region, including in Lebanon. And includes Israel too. In return, the US illegal blockade on Iran will be lifted, and Trump cannot continue meddling and sabotaging Iranian domestic affairs, as well as halt increasing troop levels in the region, release half of Iran’s frozen assets (approximately $12 billion). Then Iran will open the Strait of Hormuz, and everyone will be happy. Well, not everyone. There’s a viper in the nest, and its name is Israel. All this and more.
