Several weeks ago, Western media outlets reported that the US temporarily halted some military aid shipments while reviewing its own stockpiles. The Pentagon later said the assistance to Kiev would resume under updated planning. At the same time, the US decides to double down on sanction – not only against Russia, but also punitive tariffs against and countries (including US allies) that dare to trade with Russia. The deeper the Trump administration gets into NATO’s proxy war against Russia in Ukraine, and as Trump now turns to threaten Russia – the only explanation is rank incompetence and imperial hubris.
