Teen Quits Walmart Using Store Intercom: ‘Nobody should work here – ever’

This wasn’t the door-busting Holiday message shoppers were expecting. Shortly after submitting a resignation letter to his manager, 17-year-old Walmart employee Jackson Racicot used the intercom system to announce he was quitting at the Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada store.

The teen’s ‘epic rant’ was reminiscent of Howard Beale’s “I’m as mad as hell” speech, according to the Edmonton Journal. Here’s a sampling of Jackson airing his displeasure with his now ex-employer:

“Attention all shoppers, associates and management. I would like to say to all of you today that nobody should work here – ever…”

“[..] a month ago my boss, assistant manager Cora, called me a waste of time and management did nothing to help…”

“I’ve been a loyal employee here for over a year-and-a-half and I’m sick of all the bull****, bogus write-ups and my job…”

Racicot, who later posted a video of his job checkout online, said “I got fed up” and wanted his message to raise awareness about the treatment of employees. The end of the teen’s rant is the proverbial ‘mic drop’ as cheers can be heard throughout the store. The following video contains some profanity, but it’s clearly intended to get the attention of Walmart management.  Watch:

How I quit my job today. Like, must watch. I also ran out a fire door. Y’all should share this around lol
