The Joys of Looting: Watch As Baltimore Youths Tear Apart 7-ELEVEN Store

21st Century Wire says…

Baltimore’s riots have provided a breathtaking backdrop, but also a telling tale about the tragic state of America’s inner city youth in 2015.

While the image of police victim Freddie Gray fades into the background, new images of Baltimore’s looters and arsonists occupy the  center stage.

In America, looting is fast becoming a national sport. Last year, we were told over and over, by the riot apologists in Ferguson and most of the US media, about the need to let America’s youths ‘blow off steam’ and ‘express themselves’ during a crisis like this. We’re also told that “the children are our future.” Watch as they learn how to destroy their own communities from other ‘adults’, leaving their city considerably worse off than it was before. See their faces, as they experience the pure, unadulterated joy of looting…

These photos were posted online here with the following commentary:

“These looters should not be seen as representative of the all protesters in Baltimore on last Saturday. This was a small group of opportunists three blocks away from the police line at Pratt and Howard downtown. In fact, it took around twenty minutes for any police to finally intervene. It only takes a small amount of individuals to ruin something, be it police or protesters. The vast amount of folk there (police and protesters) were in fact civil with each other.”

Rather embarrassingly, 30 minutes into the looting, 7-ELEVEN had already run out of shopping bags, as youths were forced to carry items out by the hand full.

“An unidentified white man was dragged out of a liquor store and brutally beaten by rioters and looters in Baltimore on Monday. The identity and condition of the man is unknown at this time, but there are some reports he may have been the owner of the store”, said Dan Butcher of Pundit Press

There’s no way of knowing whether or not last nights riots, looting and arson could have been mitigated. Critics believe that the city’s Mayor may have played a role in encouraging the mob by sending out a consolatory message to rioters early on. It seems that political correctness got the best of Baltimore’s Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. Earlier in the week she stated that the city’s angry youths needed to be given ‘space to destroy’ their community:

“I worked with the police and instructed them to do everything that they could to make sure that the protesters we able to exercise their right to free speech. It’s a very delicate balancing act. Because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on. We also gave those who wished to destroy, space to to do that as well.

As the Mayor has now learned, there’s many ways to communicate with a mob, but sadly, that’s not one of them.
