BERLIN – A comical, yet tragic moment took place in Germany yesterday during a diplomatic photo junket with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the Ukrainian Prime Minster.
In a cynical attempt to appear relevant and statesman-like in front of the German leader, the Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy ‘Yatz’ Yatsenyuk unleashed an appalling gaffe, telling German-state broadcaster ARD, “We all remember well how the USSR invaded Germany and Ukraine [during WWII]. We need to avoid [a repeat of] it.”
“Nobody has the right to rewrite the results of the Second World War,” he also said “Russia’s President Putin is trying to do exactly this.”
Many people, including blogger Bryan Douglas, saw Yatsenyuk’s comments posted online and thought it was a joke. Douglas explains, “When I saw the comments on my Twitter timeline, I was initially convinced it was a joke. So much disinformation is circulated on the platform that I automatically dismissed it as a misquote. Surely a senior politician wouldn’t say something like that?”
Yatsenyuk’s comments were followed by panic stations, as the German leader’s interior communications staff sorted through the gaffe. NeoNazi Yatsenyuk was forced to apologize and re-qualify his earlier comments, where he attempted to claim how he was only referring to the post-1945 occupation on East Berlin and the post-WWII ‘iron curtain’.

However, Yatz’s ‘gaffe’ was no mistake, and reveals just how brazen and divisive Europe’s new breed of NeoNazi, fascist crop truly are. Washington’s puppet leader was attempting to downplay Soviet loses during World War II, where more than 20 million died as a result of Nazi Germany’s march eastward through the Ukraine and into Russia. Those Nazis are indeed Yatz’s ideological predecessors and role models, many of whom were Western Ukrainian Nazi collaborators led by then militant and mass-murder Stepan Bandera. It is well-know now that CIA communications handlers are managing Yatzenyuk’s media opportunities and messaging.
It’s no surprise then that the Banderite Yatsenyuk would feel compelled to make such statements on European soil, and in Germany in particular – a country who is struggling to tow Washington’s line on sanctions against Russia (Germany has suffer economically, too) for what appear to be imaginary charges that Washington and EU leaders have created in order to justify successive rounds of economic sanctions against Russia. The fact that ‘Yatz’ still remains in power is merely an extension of the efforts of the CIA and US State Department operative, Victoria Nuland, who orchestrated the coup d’état in Kiev last year.
One must always be reminded of just how Yatsenyuk and other Ukraine NeoNazis and fascists came into power in the first place. Just listen to the crass, cold, corporatized nation-wrecking phone call between Nuland and US Ambassador to the Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, where they discussed how Washington had pre-selected fascist ‘Yatz’ for the position of PM, and in which the foul-mouthed Nuland famously said “fuck the EU”. Part of Washington and the EU’s covert effort to allow Kiev’s new fascist government to sweep into power, was by staging a public shooting in the capital central protest location in Maidan Square on February 20, 2014, when unidentified sniper fire from buildings under the control of the CIA-backed ‘Right Sector’ militant fascist party, initially killed a number of police and protesters – caused a hail of gun fire between both sides on the ground which eventually left 100 dead in total. The US and EU immediately placed blame for this false flag event on the elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his government, which also created the public opinion wave required for mobs to forcibly and violently takeover government buildings in Kiev, causing the elected government to flee.
A leaked phone call between one of the coup’s co-architects, EU Vice President and Foreign Policy chief, ‘Baroness’ Catherine Ashton and Urmas Paet, Estonian foreign affairs minister, show the naked and shameless micro-management by the EU in aiding Washington’s violent regime change project. When the Estonian official brought the revelation to Ashton’s attention, she pretends to act aloof, and tries to change the subject – indicating that she knew exactly what was being told to her. What began with pro-EU colour mobs and far right-wing neo-Nazi gangs in Kiev, quickly escalated into a violent, state-sponsored ethnic cleansing of the eastern half of the Ukraine. NATO, led by the US and Britain, continues to actively back Kiev’s military brutal campaign of collective punishment and ethnic cleansing against Russian-speaking people in the east of that country.
Ironically (and rather disingenuously), US talking heads, media parrots and politicians in Washington – are still recycling their worn-out sound bites: “Russia is invading the Ukraine”, “Moscow is responsible for the destabilization of the Ukraine”, and it goes on.
