After three days in the Gulf, US President Donald Trump claims to have secured “trillions” in Saudi, Emirati and Qatari direct foreign investment for the USA, but on closer examination, that didn’t actually happen. Will there really be a major geopolitical shift in Washington’s approach to the region? Something is happening, but it may not be rolled out very well. Still, Trump talked about Gaza, but still does nothing to stop Israel’s genocide. Still, he used word “historic” many times, but the only real historic moment was his shocking endorsement of the terrorist and self-styled ‘president’ of Syria, al-Jolani aka “Ahmed al-Sharaa”. Incredible.
