Syria: Russia May Work With US & Israel To Build Alawite State

As the western-backed HTS terrorist regime in Damascus continues its pogrom by slaughtering Syria’s religious and ethnic minorities, Russia finds itself in a very awkward position hemmed-in at its military bases located along Syria’s coastal region in the port of Tartous and Khmeimim Air Base in Latakia. Some news is now emerging that Russia could play a role as the preferred counterweight by Israel and the U.S. to further Turkish territorial and influence ambitions inside of Syria, and also balance against Jolani’s HTS sectarian gangs currently attacking minority Alawites and Christians. The Kurdish “SDF” forces, based mainly in the north and northeastern areas of Syria, have also made overtures towards HTS-held Damascus, it a effort by Jolani’s terrorist Junta to unified a deeply divided Syria. More importantly, Moscow could also opt to provide military support for an Alawite autonomy in Syria’s Latakia where Russian bases are located, not unlike the way the U.S. have backed Syria’s Kurds.

Kevork Almassian from Syrianna Analysis talks about these latest developments in the embattled country. Watch:
