Henningsen: ‘Schiff’s Latest Assange Investigation May Be Partisan Motivated’

Last night it was announced that the House Intelligence Committee will be looking into an alleged CIA plot to kidnap, and even assassinate, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in 2017, according to the committee’s chairman.

“We have sought information from the agencies about those allegations and whether they are correct, any part of them are correct, or whether they’re incorrect,” said Congressman Rep Adam Schiff during a Yahoo News Skullduggery podcast.

It’s important to note that Schiff, the Democratic Party’s chief Russiagate pusher, said that he was not briefed about the alleged plan at the time, and admitted that he first heard of the would-be kidnapping from ‘anonymous sources’ cited in Yahoo News’ media reporting.

Is this a genuine investigation, or just more partisan political theater by Washington?

RT International spoke with 21WIRE editor Patrick Henningsen about what’s really behind this latest story to hit the US headlines. Watch:
