NYC Ebola Doctor ‘Tests Positive’ After Returning from Guinea, But Is It Real?

Just when Obama’s new Ebola Czar thought it was safe to catch his breath, a new case springs up in the Big Apple.

The latest Ebola case to hit American shores is Dr. Craig Spencer, 33, who recently returned home after working in West Africa treating Ebola patients there – has found himself t o be the unlikely patient this week.

Spencer, who in isolation at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City, is said to have gone bowling on Wednesday night, prompting the NT Times to run a news feature posing the all important question: ‘Can You Get Ebola From a Bowling Ball?

NY Times reports, “According to city health officials, he had been taking his temperature twice a day since he left Guinea on Oct. 14. His temperature was normal on Wednesday evening, and he did not yet have any other symptoms, such as nausea or diarrhea.”

Spencer is said to have recorded a 103°F temperature today.

This latest news will no doubt revitalize the media panic which had lost steam this week, but don’t call it a pandemic just yet…

According to a statement released by health officials, “Dr. Spencer’s travel history and the timing of the onset of his symptoms led health officials to dispatch disease detectives, who “immediately began to actively trace all of the patient’s contacts to identify anyone who may be at potential risk.”

Still, there is no REAL confirmation of Ebola – only more media hype…
