Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement, Hassan Nasrallah, issued to stark warning to the United States, Britain and Israel on Wednesday – stating that ‘nowhere in Israel would be safe’ should Israel proceed with its plans to invade and bomb its neighbor Lebanon. Moreover, he hinted that US-UK-Israel military operations based in nearby Cyprus and other parts of the Mediterranean – will not escape retaliation should hostilities escalate.
In a speech marking the martyrdom of slain Hezbollah commander Taleb Abdullah killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon last week along with three others officers, Nasrallah stated that Hezbollah does not want “total war” but will act in self-defense, but also in support of resistance forces of Hamas in Gaza.
Nasrallah’s response came as Israel’s top generals announced that battle plans have been approved for a Lebanon offensive and “accelerate readiness in the field” – which will certainly lead to a wider war, drawing in the US to support Israeli war efforts.
“The enemy must wait for us by air, land, and sea. We repeat: If war is imposed on Lebanon, the resistance will fight without rules, controls, or ceilings,” said Nasrallah responded.
He added that this will be a war “without rules or ceilings” should the IDF move into Lebanon.
“Storming the Galilee is a possibility that remains present within the framework of any war that the occupation may launch against Lebanon,” he said.
“Opening Cypriot airports and bases to the Israeli enemy to target Lebanon would mean that the Cypriot government is part of the war, and the resistance will deal with it as part of the war,” said Nasrallah.
Maybe it's high time for Washington and Brussels to start thinking ahead for a change…

Israel “knows that what also awaits it in the Mediterranean is very big,” said Nasrallah, possibly a veiled threat regarding an attack on heavily exposed offshore gas rigs.
The last time Israel tried to wage war on Hezbollah in South Lebanon was in 2006 which ended in a humiliating defeat for Tel Aviv.
Many experts believe that the Hezbollah of 2024 is many times more capable and well-equipped for battle, whereas the IDF has been deteriorating as a viable combat force.
This week, Hezbollah shocked Tel Aviv and Washington when it released a 9 minute-long highlight reel of drone surveillance footage taken over Israel, demonstrating just how exposing sensitive military and infrastructure are.
This is insane. Hezbollah drones are out there screenshotting all sensitive Israeli positions, chemical and oil storages and the entire port of Haifa while the Iron Dome is clueless. Hezbollah will destroy the port if Israel attacks Lebanonpic.twitter.com/4YhXnoUHQJ
