The Russian METIS anti-tank system destroyed the latest Turkish military gun, the T-155 self-propelled cannon. Russian media sources published pictures of the cannon after it was completely destroyed and uprooted.

Sources in new report point out how the new Turkish cannon was destroyed during the fighting that broke out between the “SDF” and the Turkish army, with the SDF deploying the”METIS” Russian anti-tank system.

The METIS system is a second-generation anti-tank complex developed at a design office in the Russian city of Tula, designed to destroy fixed and mobile visual targets at speeds of up to 60 km/h. from armored vehicles and shooting points, with an operational range of up to 1.5 km (1 mile).

Russia has spoken several times about its development of its weapons systems more effectively, based on the experience gained during the battles in the Syrian war, to declare that about 300 models of weapons were developed as a result, with the abandonment of 12 models which had proved to be ineffective.

One of the most prominent systems developed by Russia during the Syrian war, the “Caliber” winged missiles, developed to reduce the time required for the process of missile guidance, which has been reflected in the speed of launch and monitoring the target in advance of evasive action.
