Actor Harrison Ford Strikes Back at ‘Emperor’ Trump

21st Century Wire says…

Actor Harrison Fords rightly calls out the farce that is the Donald Trump’s wonderland theater.

Thus far, Trump has made a successful transition for TV reality show to political reality show. The only difference between the two is that in TV production the producers can control every aspect of what’s visible and how it’s portrayed – so the gag never wears thin. In the real world, that’s not so easy to control, and eventually… the gag wears thin.

Ford, who is starring in the upcoming blockbuster cinematic release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, highlights Trump’s mutant-like ability to seamlessly, and on-the-fly, interchange between fact and fiction.

According to NBC News:

“Trump recently told the New York Times last week that he enjoyed movies with heroic presidents — specifically 1997’s “Air Force One,” in which Ford plays a commander in chief who fights off a group of Russian terrorists who hijack the presidential plane.”

“My favorite was Harrison Ford on the plane,” Trump said. “He stood up for America.”

Ford addressed Trump’s comment Wednesday during an Australia press tour for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

“It’s a movie, Donald, it was a movie,” Ford growled into the camera. “It’s not like this in real life, but how would you know.”
