Editor’s Note: Following a series of radioactive explosions at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant this past week, authorities have confirmed that large amounts of radioactive particles were released directly into the atmosphere, and are blowing easterly towards the U.S. and later due to hit Europe and Russia. If this worries you, be rest assured that you are not alone.
