Jeremy Corbyn Tables Vote of ‘No confidence’ in May & Tory Brexit Shambles

Tonight the faltering Tory government led by Theresa May is may face the ultimate survival challenge – facing a vote of ‘no confidence’ following a motion tabled by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Should May and the Tories fail to win the upcoming vote by simple majority – it will automatically trigger a new General Election, one which could open the door for Corbyn and Labour’s ascendancy.

To move follows a week of fall outs over the PM’s handling of her much maligned Brexit deal which was eventually voted down by the UK parliament on Tuesday.

Corbyn issued a harsh ultimatum to the Tories stating, “Delay and denial has reached the end of the line.”

Corbyn accused the PM of failing to secure a suitable Brexit deal for the country.

“She cannot seriously believe that after two years of failure, she is capable of negotiating a good deal for the people of this country,” he added.

As 21WIRE reported in the fall, it was a fait accompli that the entire issue would always be held-up by the Irish border issue – a reality which the corporate mainstream media had been woefully avoiding from the beginning of the Brexit process.

Whether May survives, or is ousted in a internal party coup, or unseated by Labour through a General Election – the Brexit issue will remain problematic, as will the intense pressure by Brussels on the UK government to resolve the issue, and by markets and industry to act in a decisive manner.

Will this series of events lead to an eventual Second Referendum? Certainly, this is what a number of deep state publications like The Guardian have been pushing relentlessly for the last year.
