SYRIA: Several Large Explosions & Fire Reported Near Damascus Int’l Airport

21st Century Wire says…

Hours ago several blasts near the Damascus International Airport have been reported by Syrian media. Details as to the nature of what appears to be an attack are still coming to light.

UPDATE: An explosion was heard throughout the capital – in the vicinity of Damascus International Airport, but not inside the airport. There is information indicating that the bombing hit an auxiliary gas pipeline to generate electricity in the capital Damascus. Unconfirmed reports mention long-range missiles from Israeli occupied sector of the Golan Heights – hitting a facility located on the main road into Damascus International Airport yet did not actually hit the airport itself.
