Based on the rapid deterioration in the quality of political coverage in mainstream media, it’s become clearer than ever that something is deeply wrong with American journalism. Long before “fake news” became the enfant terrible of the Democrat-oriented corporate media in 2016, audiences had already begun fleeing the major outlets in droves – over to other more sensible outlets for their key news and analysis. Rather than pause and reflect on the reasons for their terminal demise, media mavens instead decided to double-down on their radical politicized narratives, especially in the area of race-baiting. It’s as if they are in permanent self-destruct mode, and it’s become impossible to ignore – even for loyal members of the political left. The results of this toxic rhetoric has already manifested in recent election results where this radical ‘woke’ agenda is being roundly rejected by voters.
