SAN ANTONIO, Texas — This is a breaking development about the first installment in a planned series of highly affordable GREAT TOPICS FEST presentations. This opening program is called “THE SHIP THAT WON’T SINK.”
First, the bad news: This event was to take place in San Antonio, Texas at Hotel Contessa on Sept. 8th on the beautiful Riverwalk, near the famous Alamo, but it was abruptly canceled by the hotel without a specific explanation. Once again, honest inquiry is bound and gagged.
BUT THE SHOW WILL GO ON. We won’t back down in exposing the deadly attack by Israeli air and naval forces upon the USS Liberty in June 1967—a ship that miraculously didn’t sink then just like its memory won’t “sink” now, although 34 U.S. sailors were killed and scores more injured.
We are proud to welcome as a featured speaker on this topic veteran and USS Liberty crew survivor Phil Tourney.
