Medvedev: Turkish Officials Have Financial Interest in Oil Trade With ISIS

21st Century Wire says…

Corrupt to the core.

Watch a video of this report here:

Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev has said that some Turkish officials have a ‘direct financial interest’ in the oil trade with ISIS:

Turkey’s actions are de facto protection of Islamic State,

This is no surprise, considering the information we have about direct financial interest of some Turkish officials relating to the supply of oil products refined by plants controlled by ISIS.

This ‘direct’ material support for terrorism should surely be an international cause for concern, considering that Turkey is supposed to be a NATO member.

Medvedev also spoke of the shooting down of a Russian jet by Turkey, saying that is could absolutely not be justified under the circumstances:

The reckless and criminal actions of the Turkish authorities have caused a dangerous escalation of relations between Russia and NATO, which cannot be justified by any interest, including protection of state borders,

Russia’s mission in Syria is extraordinarily clear, in contrast to the mission creep found in the West’s ‘war on terror’, and there was absolutely no reason why Turkey should have fired on the Russian jet without any warning; leading Russian FM Sergey Lavrov to brand the attack a ‘preplanned provocation‘.

With the evidence mounting that Turkey is an obvious state sponsor of terrorism, how should the world respond?

Turkey’s brash move has also triggered a backlash on social media. Hashtags #BoycottTurkey and #ErdoganMustGo have been spreading on social media, but will we seen a tangible, real world response?
