SHOCKER: Hollande says ISIS is France’s Enemy, NOT Assad!

21st Century Wire says…

This may mean our worst fears have been averted.

Watch a video of this report here:

It was believed that the West could have used the recent atrocity in Paris to mobilise NATO and seek the invasion of Syria, along lines of the Afghan precedent.

However, French President Francois Hollande’s comments today could suggest otherwise.

During an emergency meeting of the French parliament, Hollande had this to say:

In Syria, we’re looking for the political solution to the problem, which is not Bashar Assad. Our enemy in Syria is ISIL.

While it is very promising to hear Assad not being branded as an enemy for once, Hollande also rules out the Syrian President as a part of the political solution.

While still legally in power in Syria, Assad is absolutely part of the political solution; a fact that Russia has exploited to launch an incredibly effective and legal military intervention against terrorism.

This move to find a ‘political solution’ also represents a remarkable policy shift for the French, as just a few short years ago they were funding the terrorist forces attempting to overthrow Assad.

We hope that this shift also means an invasion is now off the table – for now at least.

Will Western countries now actually help Assad and Putin in their real war on terror?
