California’s drought has left residents with dead, or at least dying, lawns.

The governor, Jerry Brown, was quick to blame ‘climate change’ for the drought. However, perhaps if Californians would have adopted a style of garden more suitable to the hot, arid climate, there would have been far less lawns to water; and maybe there would not have been a drought either.
