ACHTUNG BONO: U2 Singer ‘Cheats Death’ at 10,000 Feet in Private Learjet

21st Century Wire says…

The band U2’s lead singer, Paul Hewson, 54, aka Bono, who is also the face of Bulgari Sunglasses, had what some might call a ‘brush with death’ yesterday – as the rear hatch door flew off his Learjet at 10,000 feet.

Bono and VIP friends on board the $50 million Learjet 60, lost a rear door in-flight – and all his passenger’s luggage with it.

German aviation spokesman Ralf Kunkel told described how Bono’s 80cm x 100cm rear hatch, landing near Berlin’s Schönefeld airport.

ACHTUNG BABY: Bono’s Learjet nearly broke up in midair this week.

As part of the Davos jet-set, the U2 frontman has been roundly criticised in recent years for his seemingly endless hob-nobbing with untouchable, establishment bag men and political detritus like Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and the UN’s first Minister of Depopulation and chief eugenicist, Bill Gates.

Public frustration culminated last year in the form of German protesters, who chased down the singer in streets of Berlin with placards, shouting, “Make Bono History!“. He later commented to The Observer newspaper: “Even as I was running for my life, I thought [it] was a pretty good line.”

ACHTUNG BLAIR: u2’s Bono has been photographed way too many times with hated war criminal and profiteer Tony Blair.

In the same week, he was also booed off stage in Arusha, Tanzania at a TED talk, ironically, one which he had campaigned to have in Arusha.

Along with another creature adopted by the globalist establishment, ‘Sir’ Bob Geldoff, the U2 frontman’s 2005 campaign to “Make Poverty History” helped to launch a successful international rubber bracelet business, but annoyed his previously sympathetic fan base. Ten years on, there are more people living below the poverty level than ever before, while music publishing and concert ticket sales are off the charts.

The conundrum a super-wealthy Bono faces: he’s already annoyed the African elites, the skeptical underclasses, and because of his and U2’s offshore tax refugee status in the Netherlands, he’s also ticked off the anti-capitalists in Europe too.

We don’t know who else was on board the private jet with Bono, so no conspiracy to report – yet.

German authorities are said to investigating the incident…

Bono ‘extremely lucky’ to avoid plane crash after door falls off private jet mid flight

Bono apparently “cheated death” after a mid-air accident saw the door completely torn away from the plane he was travelling in.

The U2 musician was making a two-hour trip from Dublin to Berlin on board a Learjet 60 D-CGEO with four friends heading to the Bambi International Music Awards when the incident reportedly took place.

His bandmates Larry Mullen, the Edge and Adam Clayton were not on board, and were set to travel separately to the awards show last night. Bono had apparently flown ahead of them to attend a diplomatic event with Gerd Mueller, the German minister of economic cooperation and development.

However, when the aircraft reached the German coast, the tailgate at the rear of the plane became detached.

“He was extremely lucky, the plane could have gone down” a source is quoted in the Irish Daily Mail as saying.

“About an hour into the journey they heard a big thud coming from the rear of the plane.

“They were startled for a bit but they continued on and made the descent into Berlin airport.

“When they landed they were horrified to learn that the compartment at the rear of the plane had completely detached.

“The entire door along with Bono and his companions’ luggage had fallen out mid-air. They don’t know if the door and the contents landed over water or land but they were extremely lucky…
