21st Century Wire says…
Two military coup d’états have taken place this week – in Libya and Thailand. In both cases, Washington DC have stopped short of calling them ‘coups’, but what else can you call them?
Victoria Nuland’s sock-puppet, Jen Psaki, has been busy running cover lately.
ABC news reports, “State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said the U.S. wasn’t characterizing either situation as a coup, defined by national security expert Edward Luttwak in his book Coup d’Etat: A Practical Handbook as “the infiltration of a small but critical segment of the state apparatus, which is then used to displace the government from its control of the remainder.”
“Of Libya, Psaki said today: “We do not condone or support the actions on the ground, and nor have we assisted with these actions.”
In Thailand, Martial Law has been declared by the ingoing military junta.

You can only glean from this statement by the World’s Premier Police Force, that Washington approves, and if Washington approves, it means that Washington is deeply involved. After all, good old fashion military coups and martial law are a lot more straight forward than those messy Soros-funded colour revolutions, and Saudi-funded Jihadist proxy wars.
