US President Barack Obama has signed an order implementing new sanctions on Iran to make the country halt it’s nuclear program which Iranian officials claim is for peaceful purposes. The new order comes amidst some older sanctions Iran has already been faced with. Jamal Abdi of the National Iranian Council joins RT’s Liz Wahl to take a deeper look into the US government’s Iran policy.
