Part Deux: Gunman Takes Own Family Member ‘Hostage’ at Texas Hospital

21st Century Wire says…

In an incident which has no connection to this week’s events in Paris, an apparently crazed gunman was said to have taken hostages in a Texas Hospital this afternoon in the town of Tomball, located 30 miles north of Houston.

All across America, law enforcement and media are on edge it seems expecting “something to happen” after this week’s double terror siege in Paris, France. US Senator Lindsey Graham has demanded that Washington’s DHS raise the terror ‘threat level’.

Police are reporting that at 7pm local time, the gunman, a ‘distraught father’ of a hospital patient, had taken at least two hostages at the Tomball Regional Medical Center. Police claim the man was already armed when he first entered the hospital.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office has sent its hostage negotiator and its HROU (High Risk Operations Unit) to the hospital.

Later, police changed the story and are now saying that no hostages have been taken, and that the armed father is now ‘locked in a closet’ with his family member.

This is also the second armed disturbance at a hospital in Texas this week. On Tuesday, Army veteran and former clerk at the VA hospital, Jerry Serrato, 48, fatally shot a psychologist before killing himself, at a West Texas Veterans Hospital at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX.

(with events like this, don’t be shocked when mindless US broadcast media anchors try to call this incident a ‘Copycat’ of the Paris shootings)
