The Edinburgh University Debates Union is happy to welcome Patrick Henningsen, founder of the 21st Century Wire news website, investigative journalist,regular geopolitical analyst and writer for Russia Today, for the first in a series of ‘An Evening with….’ sessions being held at the University of Edinburgh.
This informal evening discussion will see Patrick outline why he feels that political correctness in certain areas within modern society may have gone too far. Oxford IV finalist 2013, David Norris will be sitting alongside Patrick asking questions and probing him further on certain issues of perceived contention. The discussion will conclude with a question and answer session between Patrick and the audience where guests are invited to actively engage in the discussion.
